AGNI THIRTHAM

It is an integral part of Bay of Bengal and has rich association with divinities.  A bath in this thirtham is believed to wash off all sins.  It is at about 100 meters from the main-Eastern entrance and it is preferred for offering pindas to the means As it is the principaL bathing ghat it is busy with bathers almost round the clock, and so me biggest draw to :he, visitors next to the temple.  

It is believed that its turbulence was calmed on Srirama's stepping here after Ravanashara; and turned so tranquil that it has no second anywhere among sea, Shores of India would not volcanoes freeze at the holy padasparsa of Bhagawan Srirama?
