seals containing these letters have been discovered. Writing was from right to left. The beginnings of Ayurveda or the Indian system of medicine were made there. They worshipped Mother Goddess and Siva and Pasupati. They also worshipped nature like trees and animals. They believed in charms and Yoga practice. They burnt their dead. The Vedic seers were aware of this civilization. Thus three thousand years before Christ, a highly advanced civilisation thrived in this region. |
