SUNDARAR |

| Sundarar prayed
to the Lord to unite them in wedlock. The Lord appeared in the dream of his devotees of
the place and directed them to get these two married. Thus Sundarar lived the life of a householder at Tiruvarur. Many miracles happened in his life thereafter. A devotee was regularly supplying rice to the saint. At one time owing to lack of rainfall, rice became scarce and the devotee felt sad that he could not supply rise to the saint as usual. On that account he gave up his own food. God appeared in that devotee's dream and said, "I have caused a lot of rice to be accumulated in your place. Now you can begin your supply." |
