HINDU PHILOSOPHY

At the same time they are not different from God, since God is omnipresent and they depend entirely on Him. In Caitanya's system also the relation between God and the universe is similarly regarded as acintya-bheda-abheda, i.e., one of incomprehensible identity in difference.

Vallabha's system is known as Suddha - advaita or pure monism because he does not admit the force of maya like Samkara and believes that the whole world of matter and souls is real and is only a subtle form of God.

But what is important in all these systems is not so much their philosophy as the intense bhakti that they inculcate. They elaborately set forth the ways and means of bhakti, the forms and degrees of bhakti and the end and aim of bhakti.

" But we have already dealt with these subjects in the preceding chapter."
