His successor Sri Chandrasekhara Bharati Swamigal continued the good work done by his
predecessor and constructed a beautiful bathing ghat and embankments, agraharams,
pathasalas and other ancillary institutions. Further the Sankara Memorial Trust has been
doing yeoman service by promoting educational, literary arid cultural activities to
perpetuate the memory of Adi Sankara.
The credit also goes to Swami Agamananda of the Ram Krishna Mission who did excellent work
to make known to the public at large the importance of Kaladi. He traveled throughout the
length and breadth of the country preaching to the masses the message of the Upanishads as
expounded by the great Sankaracharya. |
