came across the pond, which had been earlier formed by the milk of Kamadhenu. He selected
the place for ablution and took a holy dip. Kamadhenu in the form of a tiger was roaming
near about and as it came in contact with the holy personality of Sage Vasishtha through
her m&, the to me for her redemption came, and she was transformed into her original
form and went back to her permanent abode. As
there was no temple near-by to worship, the Sage prepared a model of a Shivalinga from the
floating cream of the milky pond. Infusing life into the Linga, Sage Vasishtha started his
meditation. Being pleased with the deep meditation of Sage Vasishtha, Cod appeared in an
invisible form and a voice was heard which said, "I have been caught." |
