LORD SRIKANTESWARA OF NANJUNGUD

Introduction

The ingenuity of human brain is indeed a gift of rarity munificently bestowed upon man by the Highest Divinity, and it is a wonder of wonders that it has crossed the modest bounds fixed by his MAKER for the safety of world and mankind - its principal occupants. Seeing man - his own product swimming across the infinite space successfully for colonization and proclaiming loudly that he would soon accomplish his imbibitions project of making the impossibilities such as touching the far end of the rainbow, gathering apples from the thistles, catching up the wind in the cabbage net etc., into possibilities, the Creator chuckling audibly within himself seemed to have said that the things deemed to be impossibilities are indeed trifles, but to measure the dimensions of Lord Maheswar's heart - the seat of divine emotions like infinite compassion for man and boundless passion for universal welfare is the task real that could never to realized by gods even. And it is the - 'IMPOSSIBILITY' pure and unique and none else can claim mastery over it; for, neither his creative faculty, nor the aggregate fecundity of humans could ever dream of peeping into it, to say the least. It is infinite in dimensions, inexhaustible in capacity and irrepressible in spirits, else how can one account for its readiness to swallow Halahal threatening to devastate the cosmos in a trice. It would be a feat supreme and an achievement non-pariel, if one were to venture to examine its depth, width, length etc. and succeed in finding the size of its viswarupa.
