FESTIVALS:

Several kinds of festivals are celebrated to the deities periodicaly. Devotees make every function a great event by lavish expenditure on illumination, sound and music, when deities are taken out in procession. Sarannavarathri festival lasting for 10 days, Kalyanotsavam for Bramaramba and Malleswara-swamy deserve mention. Due to participation by rich theists and generous philanthropists, each function makes the city look like Bhooloka Swarga, and the tumultous rejoicing sometimes bring the celestial down to witness and feel envy at the way of celebration.

As it is a hill temple, the temple authorities are running 3 buses for the convenience of public. They are plied from temple to some important places, like Barrage Centre, Satyanarayana puram via Railway Station etc. And Vijayawada is accessible by air, rail and road.
