THE
YANTRA
The
yantra installed in the ground floor is infinitely powerful, and has
become the principal cause of the phenomenal growth of the temple,
despite the conspicuous absence of hoary antiquity, or godly
connections. Its mystic appeal holds a tremendous grip on the
votaries. This sacred yantra inscribed is based on the Tripada
Vibhuti Narayana Upanishad, an integral part of Atharvaveda. It is
installed on the Tripeethas, and over their Meru portion is
inscribed the Bijakshara Samputi. The apex forming into the Bindu
bears a monolithic pillar and on the top of the pillar is the image
of the Lord Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayanaswamy. In the top floor,
the Lord is installed on a grand broad Vedika, and is flanked by Sri
Lakshmi Satyavathi Devi on the left, and Lord Siva on the right. It
is here installed the images of Maheswar, Gananath, Ambika and
Aditya in four corners and are receiving equal importance with the
Moola Virat. Trikalapuja and other rituals are offered to these four
at the same time along with the archamurthi. And hence these five
formed Vishnu Panchayatanas. And this novelty is found nowhere in
the entire Bharat.
