Large congregations of Vratar this packed to the halls every day
speaks volumes of its popularity and efficacy. Though Bhishma
Ekadasi is marked out as the most auspicious day for initiation,
thousands of ever growing bhaktas cannot be accommodated on that
day. As the Sannidhi of the Lord is the most auspicious, and every
minute is holiest, people throng the temple everyday and get
initiated. Hence the entire temple area reverberates with the sacred
Mantra and exudes divinity at all times. After initiation, the
bhaktas worship the Lord regularly in their places and hold
periodical Maharaadhana and special prayer services with great
gusto, when the place wears festive appearance and disseminates the
potency of it. This Satyanarayana Vrata has become so popular in the
States of Andhra and Karnataka that there is no single town without
a Mandir for the Lord for regular worship. Needless to say the Lord
like Kalpavriksha is blessing the votaries, and so is called the
Pratyaksha Daivam.
