KALESWARAM |
|
If
luck woos a person, fortunes gallop at meteoric speed to embrace him
to the extent of suffocation. This universal truth equally holds
good even in the cases of places too. Such places then acquire
divinity and anoint the visitors with its nectarine hands.
Kaleswaram, a holy temple town situated on the south bank of pavana
Godvari in the Karimnagar District answers that description and
embodies several plus points, making it a thritha kshetra of eternal
importance. It is accessible by RTC buses from the town Manthena
lying at a distance of 30 km. Among the unique features of this
temple there are two lingas on one and the same Panivattam called
Mukteswaralinga and Kaleeswaralinga; the Mukteswaralinga bears two
holes in it and they cannot be filled up with any quantity of water
poured into them.
