Let
us now enter the main shrine called Mukteswaralayam. The garbhagriha
surprises us with its two lingas- Mukteswaralinga and Kaleswaralinga.
On the same panivettam at it This uniqueness is neither conceived
nor dreamt of by any religionist too. The holes in the
Mukteswaralinga are a standing riddle. They suck up whatever the
quantity of water poured into them. How and where it goes none
answers, but a conjecture ends that it reaches Godavari through a
subterranean passage. Can the sports of God definable? Another plus
point found here is the presence of an imposing image of Sun God
installed in a grand niche. Moreover, there is one temple for
Brahma, which is a rarity.
