Besides,
here there are separate shrines for Bindumadhavaswamy,
Venkateswaraswamy, Balarajeswaraswamy, Saraswatimata and
Annapurnadevi. Many of them deserve renovation. Although their
divinity draws to their sannidhis, the environs and falling and
fallen portions irk the visitors a great deal. Since it is renowned
for several reasons, Government must bestow reasonable attention to
restore it to its former glory.
During
Maghabuhula Chaturthi-Mahasivaratri festival is celebrated on a
grand scale. Prayer services offered on New moon day also attract
thousands of devout people. This great temple needs greater care for
the greatest profit of pilgrims and tourists.
