An
incarnation of Dharma. This legend is depicted on the walls in
colour through many scences. The sequence is well maintained and
each frame makes such visual appeal that the viewers react to the
expressions of the pictures drawn. In the Ardhamantap, specially
reserved for Sivalilas, Lord Siva here reveals himself in a variety
of forms, such as Netana murthy, Andhakasuradwamsa, Dhakshinamurthy
in bright jewels, Chandikesanugrahamurty with Kapalamala,
Bhikshatana murthy in Darukavana. Thus they depict his complete
life; and appear realistic. And as eyes roll from corner to corner,
viewers experience inexplicable feeling. Though the colour is faded,
due to Kaladevatha's rough handling to some extent, the details are
extremely appealing. The artists' brush presented exact life-like
pictures that even modern camera admits its inefficiency before
them. It is an artists' Paradise, and research yields much for
several theses. Painters, Sculptors, archeologists find them most
inspiring, and in fact they give a fresh lease of life to the ardent
Kalaradhakas. A miss not wonder land for everyone.
