FESTIVALS - PRAYER SERVICES

The festivals and prayer services offered to the Lord follows a definite schedule and the bhaktas are provided all facilities to-the conduct of poojas of their choice, and redeeming vows according to traditions. Free darsan is made available daily thrice, and special darsan is permitted on payment of special fees. As thousands of persons visit every day and celebrate a wide variety of pujas, the whole temple complex and surroundings are always busy reverberating with devotional music and prayers. Everywhere one can see colour and sound, all but centering round the temple glory and they are soaked in devotion. Every day is a festival day and every minute offers a soul-lifting experience.

Among the festivals, Brahmothsavam falling in September and October is a great festival and draws lacs of persons. It lasts for 10 days, when piety reaches the height of piety itself. As it was inaugurated by Brahma itself, it is very sacred and significant. Float Festival is equally important and falls in March-April, Vasantotsava, Dhanurmasotsava and Adhyayanotsava are other festivals in the temple Calendar, and they are celebrated with fanfare and reverence due.
