NANJANGUD - SRIKANTESWAR TEMPLE  

Introduction

Here we are in Karnataka, exactly in Srikanteswar temple of Nanjangud to witness another great miracle demonstrated by that omni compassionate Lord Siva. He is the main actor and the other involved though a Muslim king, he is diametrically opposed to Lodi in everything - mind, soul and outlook.

He was the gem of a ruler, whose chief ambition in life was to be impartial and tolerant to other religions. He and his well-groomed son Tippu threw a halo round Bharatamata and are adorning the galaxy of rulers of immaculate glory and exemplar, traits of head and heart. Their achievements are innumerable and exploits laudable. Their reign was a golden era in the history of Karnataka.
