CONCLUSION

WE may now summarize our studies.

We are born with certain qualities and potentialities of body and mind as a result of the previous activities and attachments of the soul. This holds us in a strong grip. But we have the freedom to liberate ourselves. But soul's activities in its present body decide its future, whether it is partial or complete liberation from past Karma or further bondage.

The Grace of God can bring about liberation, how- ever great may be the previous bondage. This is so, not only because of the inherent power of Grace, but also because the soul's efforts to obtain that Grace have themselves, like other motions of the mind, Karmic potency. The Gita teaches what these efforts should be, to which it gives the name of Yoga.
