Perhaps,
India has shown to the whole world through him that it alone could
produce such illustrious godmen, whose ideals and achievements would
mould mankind into a shape that is at once adorable. Hence he lives
as a marshal-monk-monarch unsurpassed even after the great 'Pralaya'.
As
a natural consequence of this, legends and fables in verse and
prose, grew around him so cooperatively and abundantly that they
hardly allow any one to have a correct picture of his rich
personality. So, it is left to the hard labours of research scholars
to dive deep into the ocean that his life is, to cull sparkling gems
to adorn him and make a fresh assessment of his worth. As the
scholars probe into his life, they are bewildered at the astounding
potentialities of this noble son of our sacred Ind.
No
wonder they grow eloquent and forget the power of the words they
employ. Some seem discontented at the inadequacy of the language
itself to clothe him fittingly, and properly.
