LORD NARASIMHA OF KARPARA KSHETRA

He is the kuldaivam of millions of families in Karnataka, and several spiritual leaders and renowned Matadhipathis paid and are paying periodical visits to this thirtha kshetra. They carry home little pieces of the bark of the tree for worship in their houses. It is believed that with the blessings of this Karpara Narasimha alone His Holiness Satyananda Tirtha of Hole Honnur was born and so he made fitting endowments to the temple in the form of jewels. His Holiness Janardhana Swamy too narrated many miracles of the Lord from his personal life. Moreover, it is in the presence of this Lord alone the honorific title of Yatindra was conferred on the Pithadhipathi of Mulabagal and he became responsible for propagating Narsimhopasana cult in the south.
