THE ORIGIN OF THE CAVE 

Once, as the story goes, a Muslim shephered by name Buta Malik was given a sack of coal by Muslim a sadhu out of love fur his pious living. When opened it in the house that night  he found it to be old. Over joyed Muslim went to the spot to thank him fur the fortune given. But ho found a cave and when he went inside, he found a snowlinga. He started worshipping it with great fervour, thinking  that diva alone conferred that favour. And ethers followed him fur bliss and fortune. In course of tune it became a place of pilgrimage . As it was discovered anti Popularized by hint, his descendants are given a percentage of donations even today. The pilgrims carry with them the white substance deposited on bank of Amarganga; fur they believe that their bodies, it Protects them from severe cold and other skin diseases. They named if Amara Vibhuti during their  stay lasting for hours, they observe white pigeons flying about and they bow to them considering as siva and Parvathi in the form of birds, ever since their a conversation  was over heard by their servants.
