During the times of crises, the Trio along with
other powerful divinities, like Yama, Surya, Kartikeya and Indra invested her
with their amsas for instant routing of the demons, since they realised that
their
individual powers or even combined strength was miserably unequal to the
superior might of rakshas, which they wrung from the Creator Brahma, or Layakara
Siva by their austere penance and deep meditation.
Fortified with Bhagavadamsas, She scored thumping victory over the lokakantas,
together with the inestimable assistance of some of her own manifestations
created as and when her own sakti could not cope up with Rakshasa sakti assailed
her in various forms, from many quarters with sudden onset. On no
occasion she was vanquished, nor disappointed the devaganas, who sought and
relied upon her strength. She dominated over every power when aligned with out
of necessity. Her banner was ever kept aloft and chanted victory, as it were,
and the effulgence of Dharma Jyothi She lighted up, there after illumined all
the worlds to the extent of making he Sun blink. The name she assumed; forms
revealed; weapons wielded to tide over the situations defy description.
