To
be brief, my devotion-that sublime instinct started growing faster
than my age; so was my passion for publication of the glory of
temples. It may seem something unusual and extra-ordinary, but it is
a fact. As my visit to temples numerous, accumulation of temple
lore, copious; urge for communication vigorous, I sought the leading
publishers for printing the books authored only after getting some
amount as Financial Aid by the T.T.D., Tirupathi, but disappointment
in its vilest form appeared before me at every door step, uttering--
"Temple books!. No market ...if you want us live, don't raise
that topic... no sane man will buy, nor turn a few pages, if he
reads those titles. This refrain was heard again and again. A few
others sang our hand are full, leave the manuscript with us, after
one year we will intimate our decision. yet others blurted, at best
only some 50 to 60 copies may be sold in a year, and we will give
10% royalty after audit". The author role faded out abruptly
with that.
My
enthusiasm thus trampled, I thought of saying 'Bye' to further
flights, but could not since the receiver of the T.T.D. 'Aid has to
give them 50 copies of the books FREE with in a six months' period.
