Among
the other manifestations of Sri Mahavishnu adored here, Lord
Narasimha, His fourth incarnation dominates over others, like Vamana,
Rama, Krishna, Parasurama etc., it is estimated that there are as
many as 32 Narasimhakshetras in Andhra Pradesh and in this respect
too Andhra Pradesh tops the list of other states. All the major
Narasimhakshetras - Simhachalam. Ahobalam, Kritasaucham and
Papaharam are located in this state. His righteous indignation that

emotional and easily irritable, yet readily and rapidly subsides to

Narasimha, the race is embodying exemplary compassion and inimitable

microscopic lens divulges that they are the true editions, say exact
prototypes of Narasimha in their mental make up and behavioral
reactions. To what else can one can attribute the
soda-bottle-thunder, they display", queries the analyst. They
are Narasimhas minus the lion heads. What then is Narasimha? A visit
to simhachalam shrine, incidentally, the first of the 16 renowned
