Now
Listen to the Miracle:
One
summer noon, this devout collector was enjoying his nap after a
tough schedule of the day's work. The cool breeze wafting from the
calmly moving Cauvery water was so comforting that he slipped into
the lap of Morpheus - the goddess of sleep. All on a sudden, he
darted from the cot due to alerting by Mother Vedanayaki in dream.
Dashing out of the room, he started racing down the staircase as
beckoned by the Mother to the open yard lying between the bungalow
and the temple. He never looked back even for a split second at the
building. And reached it in a matter of seconds. Sooner than coming
to halt, he heard earsplitting sounds of the roof and walls of his
room failing down with a deafening crash. Within minutes, the entire
chamber was converted into a heap of rubble.
None
of the articles was found in its shape; all were damaged beyond
recognition, Ironically, the building was well-built and strong
capable of standing lightning of thunders. Moreover, there were no
signs of tempestuous gales heralding heavy down pour. He raised his
hands in veneration to the Mother for his providential escape. Had
he remained a second more, there could have been none to report this
miracle or publish it to the world.
