Tirunaimisaranyarnya -
Sri Hari Mandir
Nowhere the statement that God is Omnipresent and permeating the whole worlds
both animate and inanimate is apparent, and gained currency as it is in this
kshetra, where there is no formal structure of any kind, nor priest to perform
worship to say first and last. The glory of Hinduism lies in
the eternal truth of the immanence of the Supreme Providence, and the scriptures
have been vociferous on this, since time immemorial. Yet temple have been built,
idols are installed, prayers are offered, festivals are celebrated and
pilgrimages are advocated. And yatris are returning with minds stuffed devotion
and souls overflowing with bliss. All seen incongruous, absurd and incompatible
to say the least. But there is a hallowed glory in the hollow vacuum. Does
vacuum exist? It is NOT All capitals. If does, as the scientists aver, there is
again inconsistency; for, they too tacitly admit that there are invisible powers
pervading the whole cosmos. The controversy neither ends, nor leads to goal.
Agnosticism stands not the might of theism, nor it solvt-s problems concerning
the spirit.
leaving
such bootless disputes and enter the Nairnisardnya, we are told that the
All-Time Highest is abiding here in the form of FOREST, and if we have powerful
inner eyes we can set- HIM in every atom of the soil and in every motion of the
blade of grass even. In consequence, we have to be contented with joining hands
to offering prayers to the inanimate rocks and dales and animate greenery
sumptuously grown over the tall trees and thick dark bushes adorning Bhumaata in
an act of veneration. But journey to this topless, door less, timeless and rite less
holy place of worship is as essential as breath to live in this world, says the
evolved soul quoting 'Sarvam Vishnu Mayam Jagat!' This faith entered into
marrows of the saintseers who dwelt and attained beatitude. And lo! left
priceless heritage in immortal works for the benefit of mankind. Believed are
relieved and sceptics caught in the maze of their own making are wailing
endlessly, remorselessly and profit lessly too.
But
there are here some Mutts, Eke Sutha Pouranika Mutt, Vyasa Mutt and Sukamaharshi
Mutt, the inmates all are adoring the Bhagawan seeing His cosmic form in all.
This tradition observed by the yatris in taking bath in the holy Chakra thirtha
first and Gomathi river next and offering worship to the FOREST deeming God, the
Highest is abiding in it. The Mother is called Sri Hari Iakshmi Tirumangai Alwar
offered pasurams eulogizing. It lies 2 km off Naimisar railway station on
Calcutta - Dehradun railway in the state U.P .
