4. VIRUPAKSHA

He is the exact prototype of his virtuous parents in character and attainments. Trained by Rajaguru Bhaskaracharya, he enhanced the prestige of his family and vamsa by thoughts noble; actions exemplary and words commendably dignified. He proved a befitting leader to his friends and soldiers, who supported him implicitly. 

His magnanimity and integrity were not fully brought out but rewarded even by his inveterate enemies. Had not Raja Rajanarendra, the rightful heir of Chalukya Kingdom, not only extended his helping, friendly, malice less hand but crowned him as the feudal lord of Penugonda territory? He was the product of Putrakamestiyaga, blessed by celestials and the dearest brother of Vasavamba.
