This much-hallowed temple too has certain odd features which mark it from the rest of Siva Kshetras. Among them, the absence of Somasutram around the lingam deserved first mention. Further, the linga will not be sunk with whatever the quantity of water used for abhishekam; and all the water soon disappears; where? no body knows! Can the sports of divinities admit interpretation, or lab experimentation? Any time? And anywhere!! Mute acceptance liberates anyone, but persistant scepticism, lowers the skeptic into abyss!
