Rajahmundry
- Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy Aalayam
This ancient august Vaishnavate temple enjoyed a prestigious place during the Chalukya and Kakatiya rulers. Its sculptural
beauty is indeed too enticing that the devotees feel to be in rapport with the times of the legends. It is brought from the fort in
its entirety in 1788 along with the archamurti. There are many mutts here, some of which are containing the samadhis of
revered Swamiji's, like Satyadhisa Swamy and Satyagnana Thirtha Swamy. Vaikhanasa agama puja is offered to the icons
regularly with due piety. The temple, despite erected in a new locality is exercising its hold on the devotees as it did in the
past.
This lies between the Khambam Choultry and Gopalaswamy temple in the Rajamundry town of AT, possessing all transport
facilities.
