TIRUNALLAR |
|
After the bath they
dried their hair in the sun. When they were doing so, some particles of water spilled from
their hair fell on the heads of the elephants, which brought them back to their original
forms. Narada appeared before the King with his inseparable Veena and directed the King to
take his bath in the holy waters of the Brahma Danda Teertham and then to worship
Tyagaraja, the presiding deity. Out of gratitude
for his transformation,
the King distributed a large portion of his wealth to the poor and the needy. All those
suffering from Brahminicide (Brahma Hatya Dosha) and evil influence of Saturn come to this
place and take a dip in the Brahma Danda Teertham and worship Lord Tyagaraja, and they get
rid of all the sins and evil influences of Saturn. |
