cursory galance at their earliest appearance furnishes valuable information
about man's struggles against the most formidable forces into which he was
thrown. In the initial stage of his coming into the world, and living amidst the
most savage beasts and venomous creatures, rather cohabitation with them was
forced upon him. Unexpected danger and its instant onset drained his instincts
of vigour and bravado. When fell prey to blood thirsty quardrupeds and multipeds,
he sought means for self protection. Weapons in their crude and unpolished
nature slowly came to be invented. Various shapes and sizes gradually, entered
the field, Yet, he was not out of danger. Mysterious forces of nature too
confronted and floored him on occasions many. Realizing his insignificant might
against shockingly harrowing and appallingly obnoxious inimical elements seen and
unseen, he turned his head upwards and started appealing to the superhuman
powers to screening himself from perilous position and to granting strength and
stand against both earthly and heavenly agencies bent upon snipping out the
flame of his life. He then started praying to them giving shapes and names to
the forces jeopardizing his earthly sojourn.
