Fully
aware of it, I spared no flower up lucked for the continuance of adoration of
Mother Sakti, praying devoutly for revelation to accomplish my object. As if an answer
to my perseverance, there appeared on the scene a person by accident, who
suggested a title containing a kind of information on hand. I reiterate that
only due to non-availability of that material, I confined the composition to the
murky corner of the shelf for long, despite more than 220 temple accounts were
penned at a stretch, soon after the collection of material from several sources,
in the booklets, brochures, tourist guides, pamphlets, in addition to authentic
source materials secured only for a few temples. For some, I haven't given
precise information on route, conveyance etc., and also the state in which the
temple located. My trials even with the help of Atlas did not bear fruit, kindly
put up.
After
a patient perusal of that book. I found it in the appendices part, some
information on the Sakthi-Peethas, numbering 52 inclusive of the well known
Ashtadasa Sakthi-Peethas.
