SANESWAR BHAGAWAN OF MANDAPALLI

When they prayed to the sages living nearby, they learnt the cause though their tapassakti Sympathizing the miserable fate of the brahmins, they volunteered to avert further ruination from the cruel brothers The sages then met en masse Saturn, son of Surya Bhagawan doing penance there to come to their rescue by killing the demons. When he pleaded for time to complete his tapa and gait further strength for the destruction of the rakshasa brothers the sages then gave their Tapassakti to Saturn to accomplish the deed without further delay.
 
Armoured with the combined tapassakti of the sages Saturn entered the field. Then struck an idea to him all on a sudden that diamond alone cuts another diamond-deceit must be taught a lesson by deceit alone. So he took the form of an aged brahmin and started going round the pipal tree the visible manifestation of Aswartha. The wicked demon, as usual gulped down the old brahmin No sooner did Saturn enter the stomach, he assumed the real form and snapped the bowels to fragments. Poor Aswartha fell down in his real form. An occasion for great rejoicing! A boon for all the living there!!
