Regular
prayers will yield good fortune and ensure bright future. He
installed then a Sivalinga and named it Saneswar; for, Lord
Maheswar alone is easily accessible, and merciful though layakara.
By worshiping him all will enjoy a carefree life and gaim rapid
advancement. He then added that the Saneswar Bhagawan, if bathed in
the gingely oil thailabhisheka with due rituals and after prayers,
the Lord will fulfill the desires of the adorers to their
satisfaction. Since then Saneswara linga is worshipped with great éclat.
This linga is also called Mandeswara for the prime reason that
Saturn is also known as Mandha in puranans. So the presiding deity
is called by both the names of Saneswar or Mandeswar. People
believed visits made prayers continued, faith developed, desires
fulfilled and they prospered.
