SANESWAR BHAGAWAN OF MANDAPALLI

Regular prayers will yield good fortune and ensure bright future. He installed then a Sivalinga and named it Saneswar; for, Lord Maheswar alone is easily accessible, and merciful though layakara. By worshiping him all will enjoy a carefree life and gaim rapid advancement. He then added that the Saneswar Bhagawan, if bathed in the gingely oil thailabhisheka with due rituals and after prayers, the Lord will fulfill the desires of the adorers to their satisfaction. Since then Saneswara linga is worshipped with great éclat. This linga is also called Mandeswara for the prime reason that Saturn is also known as Mandha in puranans. So the presiding deity is called by both the names of Saneswar or Mandeswar. People believed visits made prayers continued, faith developed, desires fulfilled and they prospered.
