Returning to the capital after his digvijayayatra, he found to his astonishment in the palace an enchanting angel-like beauty in teens. This enticing beauty made his head reel, and he lost poise. Alas! she was no other than his own daughter called Chandravathi, who grew up into a blooming beauty in his long absence.
