time. Returning to the capital after his digvijayayatra, he found to
his astonishment in the palace an enchanting angel-like beauty in
teens. This enticing beauty made his head reel, and he lost poise.
Alas! she was no other than his own daughter called Chandravathi,
who grew up into a blooming beauty in his long absence. Despite
acquainted with the fact by his wife, and against protests by the
daughter, he decided to quench his kamadaha. Sensing that her father
was trying to accomplish his sinful lust with brute force, she fled
to forest and reached this part.
