Several kinds of festivals are celebrated to the deities periodically, and people make every functions a great event by lavish expenditure on illumination, sound and music, when taking out the deities in procession. Of them, Sarannavarathri festival lasting for 10 days, Kalynotsovam for Bramarambha Malleswaraswamy deserve attendance. Due to participation by rich theists and generous philanthropists, each function makes the city look like Bhooloka Swarga, and the tumultous rejoicing sometimes bring the celestials down to witness and feel envy at the way of celebration.
