Hindus
must listen to what the majority members of other religions say
about their beliefs and acknowledge what is said, not only when it
is similar to Hinduism, but also when it goes against it. They
should study the traditional books of other religions and not merely
assume that within them all is some Hindu form of spirituality as
the real core.
They should examine not only the Bible
and the Koran but also related religious literature including
the Sharia that is the basis of Islamic law throughout the world.
They should give great importance to the sayings of the modern
leaders of these religions from the Pope and Billy Grahman to the
Ayatollah Khomeni and the Imam of the Jami Masjid in Delhi. These
people are the living representatives of these religions as the
majority of their believers accept them.
They show these religions as Hindus
have to live with them in the real world. Hindus should be aware of
the well documented missionary plans and programs against them, most
of which are not at all hidden, and not simply believe that these
will disappear if Hindus are more tolerant or if they praise the
mystical elements in other religions. |
