SOMESWARASWAMY ALAYAM
This
Saiva Kshetra ground that bends the heads before the sivalinga,
supposed to have been installed by the famous king called Sty
Rajavasireddi Venkatadri Naidu. During his reign, there were several
bandits living in these mountains and were abusing insurmountable
hardships to the travellers and peace-loving villagers. The king
reprimanded them to give up their way -laying, and lead honourable
life. Those dare devils though feigned obedience before him, hardly
changed their profession. The king then resorted to strategum. He
invited them once for a festival and poisoned their food. Alas they
died. At once and enmasse Trouble ceased to the public.
