When the heads of the representatives of all sections assemble there before the Utsava murthis brought to Kalyana Mantap, and lots are cast to select one. Easy process, yet odd! The competition for the honour of celebrating the marriage ceremony of the Goddess Lakshmi with Lord Narasimha, though end thus, it reflects their devotion and belief' prevalent; they are quite laudable. It seems Narasimhopasana has taken deep roots in this part, and he is the house-hold deity of thousands of families here. This grand function is celebrated during the Brahmotsavam falling in the month of Palguna masa. Every year this enthusiasm is displayed, and the selected man not only deems it a great honour, but thinks that his life attains charithartha with it. The jeers of the Math are deservedly famous for their commitment to dissemination of bhakthi, and their ministrations in several forms are quite adorable. Though located almost in the centre of Andhra Pradesh, from many far off places like Tamil Nadu and Karnataka devotees are ever pouring in for adoration and emancipation.
