AHOBALAM

The efficacy of this sacrosanct from of Narasimha, according to scriptures-Upanishads, Divya Prabandhams, devotional literature and Bhagavadgita, is the most potent and hence enshrined with great reverence in the Pancharatrastavam. The Vishnu Dharmottara brings out effectively the glory of this Narasimha aspect, and Narasimha Purvathapani Upanishad eulogises that it is with this aspect alone the Almighty God appeared before Brahma and gave him the mantra-Narasimha Anushtup that alone enabled him to give forth the four Vedas. Moreover, without this no yantra Pratishta becomes complete, as it is the basis of all yantras. Bhagavadgita, the song celestial unfolds its efficacy in the 2nd chapter. Above ally Arjuna's narration of his darsan of the Viswarupa embodies this fact and confirms the validity of that Anushtup. So Narasimha is supreme God and his nine aspects are most adorable, and they are seen here.
