It
is indeed a matter of great pride, permissible in a way, that Andhra
Pradesh is treasuring up with utmost veneration all these four
kshetras, particularly this one, where Narasimha incarnated himself
at the call of Saranagatha, displayed his mufti-dimensional form to
lifting the deserving righteous and crushing the egocentric
danavadhama, along with others of similar spiritual significance. So
all the four principal places, like Simhachalam, where he first
descended to lifting the sinking bhakti under the weight of a 50
mile long hill; Ahobalam, where he put down adharma with his mighty
hands; Kritasoucham; Where he washed off the adharmic blood stains;
and Papaharam, where he rested after that Jaganmangalakarya. And
what is more, though his incarnation is recognised and counted as
one of the ten, many parts of India have not built fitting shrines
appropriate to his dignified and distinguished position, nor worship
is done all its forms. Andhra Pradesh alone is evincing such keen
interest and infinite zeal worthy of emulation and instant
implementation. This ennobling psychic aspect - a speciality is
handed down from generation to generation, and is preserved, rather
enriched by continuing the worship with infinite ardour.
