LORD MANJUNATH OF DHARMASTHALA

Kuduma metamaorphosed itself into a world renowned Dharmapitha and became the prime seat of non-official Judicature of Bharata Khanda - a unique feature that is not realised anywhere, though ardently yearned for. For deciding civil cases it won reputation and consolidated its position when parties most willingly adhered to its decisions. In course of time, the ruling government was pleased to change kuduma into Dharmasthala in the official records. Moreover, from the historic visit of H.H. Shrivadiraju Garu Sarvabhousna, the redoubtable Madhamata Pithadhipathi, its fame started soaring higher and far surpassing any other of similar Pitha.
