DHARMASTHALA
AND ITS UNIQUENESS
The wrod
`Dharmasthala'
has such a rich meaning that it at once - exhilirates the religious minded man
at its very mention by opening a vista of colourful history of the bygone past
days of a land, soaked in Dharma - righteousness. It connotes a place where
Dharma hovers over eternally, and is abiding in every grain of its soil. As
such, if adharma - injustice in any of its manifestations like speech or action
tries to make a dent into it, it gets pulverised sooner or than its appearance.
Dharma and only Dharma in its prestine purity and unadulterated form exists
there, and Dharma Devata taking her seat rules through her deputy, who
administers justice purely on the merits of the cases referred to regardless of
their kinship with caste, creed, religion, region, language, and other sinister
forces existing only to tearing mankind into an infinite number of fragments. It
is here Dharma is enthroned on Dharma pitha for the benefit of those desiring to
abide by its bidding to enjoying bliss.
