Though
his lot is enviable, he envies none, nor works up for their fall, though capable
of it; he is stone-blind to other's fall, or rise. When he rises by the benign
grace of the Supreme- Being, he is not elated to
that height that makes him forget his earthly existence. Vice in any form dares
not approach him. He avoids it always. Praise and blame work upon him alike. He
is not jubilant over the praises, nor deflated by the blames. He goes by reason,
relies on conscience and believes in his own SELF His conscience is too faithful
to keep awake around the clock to save him from any danger.
Hence, no rumors nor adverse remarks ever assail him. Knowing their poisonous
stings, he avoids their approach and remains untainted and unaffected. His
mellowed conscience distinguishes the false from genuine and acts accordingly.
Being a god man, he says his prayers zealously and regularly, and implores Him
to take his hands into His for eternal bliss.
