ON CONTENTMENT AND AMBITION

The desirable and adorable 'ambition' takes its origin in sanity. It is brought up by sobriety, befriended to humility, educated under piety and lives in serenity. So it is pleasing to look at and modest in outlook. Moreover, worthy to be craved for. It is dependable at all times and hence desirable by one and all.

The ambition of this sort is synonymous to desire, aspiration, goal etc. So there is nothing that could be despised, nor damnable about it. Verily, the life of every one starts functioning with this sort of modest ambition. As a matter of fact, the career of any man feeds upon it, leans on it, and finally sticks on to it. Without this type of ambition, man stays where he is. Progress is neither conceived, nor baptized. Does not stagnation . claim its sovereignty then? The situation that follows it is unthinkable and abominable. Man minus progress is akin to a mountain, motionless and liteless. He has then, neither charm in life, nor his existence, any meaning. Ambition spills grace as it moves gracefully with man, provided it remains decent and modest. Such-a-one enhance one's status and wrings laurels of the rarest type.
