Vaulting ambition, mark it with care, never lifts any person at any time higher, nor does it entitles him to fame. It is a vice in its grim form. But the irony of it, it holds the admirers and votaries spell-bound by its immediate and unlimited gains. In consequence, they lose touch with virtues, or adorable traits. Naturally, they fall from the pedestal and roll in sin, making themselves immune to virtues. For them, emancipation is a mirage, since they are succumbed to the lethal influences of sins. Apart from the very ordinary folk, even the superhuman beings too could not come out of it unscathed, if once they get into its folds unwillingly even. Ambition of that type leaves behind it a flaming world `Danger' written undoubtedly, in blood. So, it deserves a decent burial and a well-attended funeral, befitting its station.

But mind you, this is only one side of the picture-that side which has not been well drawn, or properly painted. The other side of ambition is quite lovely and pleasant. It has a coveted place and hence commands reverence. Even Gods offer their obeisance to it and prefer to take shelter under its benevolent shady branches.
