CHANDA DEVI TEMPLE

This is another powerful Goddess, who after killing sumbha Nisumbha took her seat here at the soulful prayers of the people. It is built on the eastern summit of Siwalik hills, and as such it also provides an excellent view of whole Haridwar. Next to it lies, Arjuna Devi Temple: They have to be climbed only, and at the foot this hill there are two shrines dedicated to Gawri Shankar and Neeleswara Mahadev.
