KARMA AND THE SCIENCE OF REBIRTH
Freedom from karma is not incapacity but the highest accomplishment and greatest mastery over all the domains of life. The key to it is not to seek. Our inner Self is the central point of the universe. We need not act overtly. If we merely abide in our own deepest nature all the universe must respond to it, must revolve around it. All things are accomplished by their own nature and in that nature is peace in both action and non-action.

Karma is based upon desire. It reflects the freedom of our soul. As long as we have desires we must take embodiment to fulfill them. As desire is limited, has a specific aim, it must have an end or lead to sorrow. Hence only when we desire everything or nothing will we find peace. Hence Yoga aims at going beyond desire. This does not mean giving up the things we want but seeing that it is beneath our dignity as a Divine being to want anything or make our happiness dependent upon anything that comes from the outside.
