TIRUKKADAIYUR

King Sarabhoji could feel that the priest was in deep communion with the Goddess. The idea came to his mind that whatever the priest uttered then would come true. He desired to have a talk with
such a great man somehow. But the priest did not notice his presence. At this King Sarabhoji enquired of the Brahmin attendants:

"Who is this holy man who considers me as a non-entity?" The attendant Brahmins, who wished to vilify the devotee Abhiramabhattar, replied that he was probably under the influence of alcohol. Otherwise this strange behavior towards the King could not be explained. The King showed by his facial expression that he did not approve of this explanation.

He himself took the initiative and asked the priest: "What is the tithi (Lunar Day) today? How long will it be?" Bhattar, who was in full happiness seeing the glorious face of the Goddess within his mind, heard the question indistinctly and replied: "It is a full-moon day".
