| At the invitation of Raghunatha
Raya, the King of Tanjore, he went and offered special prayers in the palace for
rains, as the country was in the grip of drought for years.
Forthwith, there it rained cats and rats. A great relief to the
country. This miracle saved millions.
Once
three Kerala astrologers came to him and solicited his permission to
forecasting the coming events from the study of his horoscope. As
desired, they were allowed to sit in separate rooms and complete the
work. They agreed in every aspect, except that of his life. One said
that he would live for 100 years; another for 300, and the last one
700 years. The sishyas criticised, but the Holiness approved that
each one was correct; for, the span of his physical life was 100 ,
that of his writings 300, and the life in the Brindavan for 700
years. He surprised the congregation with his correct
interpretation. But the news of his death caused sorrow to all. |
