| We had occasion to note that some of the names of Siva are ascribed to Visnu. The names of other Gods also are attributed to Him, thereby identifying Visnu with all the Gods. Visnu is Brahma, Who creates an things

(suryah, 883), Savita who brings forth all worlds
(savita, 884), Vasu that is the locus of all beings, or that resides in all beings
(vasuh, 104), the wind-god who is in interspace
(vasuh, 270), the one who exists in all beings without any distinction
(vasuh 696); Tvasta who destroys all beings at the time of
pralaya (tvasta, 52); Yama, the inner controller of all beings
(yamah, 162);
Nahusa, the binder of beings through
